    Saturday Jul 15, 2023 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM

St. Alphonsus Alumni Association, along with the Siciliano family, would like to extend an invitation to the parish and Alumni to attend a celebration for the Feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel on Saturday, July 15 at 10 am., here at St. Alphonsus - St. Clement Church.
(Parking for Mass is at 7500 Schaefer, which is the Yagley Hall parking lot, due to the demolition and reconstruction of the parish school campus).
The feast holds special meaning for the Sicilianos whose 6 children attended St. Alphonsus grade and high school from 1952 to 1983 and have a special devotion to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel that stretches for 5 generations.
Grandfather, Filippo, made a vow during WWI to honor Our Lady if he made it back alive to his home town in Italy.  He honored her by donating a statue in his hometown church and continued his vow of honoring her, in his new home town of Dearborn, MI.  His two sons, Frank and Joe, continued their devotion which has now been passed down to us, the 3rd, 4th and 5th generation.
Please join us for this festive occasion to honor Our Lady of Mt. Carmel on Saturday, July 15 at 10 am.  The Mass will also be livestreamed.
