Music Ministry
St. Alphonsus-St. Clement Music Ministry
St. Alphonsus-St. Clement Music Ministry exists to glorify God and inspire the faithful through sacred music. Rooted in the liturgical traditions of the Church, we serve to deepen the prayer experience, lead congregational worship, and foster a spirit of reverence, unity, and joy. With hearts open to the Holy Spirit, we strive to be instruments of God’s love, lifting voices and souls to Heaven through song.
MUSICIANS WANTED
Summer 2025
Do you sing, or play an instrument? Prayerfully consider over the summer months sharing your gift with our parish community, all ministries below will begin after Labor Day.
Consider becoming part of the Saint Alphonsus-St. Clement Music Ministry! We are in search of volunteer choristers, cantors, and instrumentalists to serve at all weekend Masses.
CANTORS….Cantors are responsible for proclaiming the Responsorial Psalm and Gospel Acclamation at the Mass. On major feast days and solemnities of the church year, the responsorial psalm will be proclaimed from the pulpit.
SUNDAY SCHOLA...This choir sings at the Sunday 10:00am Mass. Schola sings on all the hymns and Mass Ordinaries that are sung at Mass, which encourages full active participation in singing by the congregation. Schola rehearses on Sunday morning at 9:30am.
