The corner of Warren and Schaefer has been a shining beacon of the Catholic faith in east Dearborn since 1852. The St. Alphonsus-St. Clement Heritage Garden honors the heritages of the parishes of St. Alphonsus and St. Clement and their schools where countless memories have been created. When completed this space, located on the site of the former St. Alphonsus High School building, will be a prayerful, peaceful space with gardens, a Veterans Memorial, and paver plaza. Plaza bricks will afford you the opportunity to permanently recognize loved ones and celebrate cherished memories. The Heritage Garden, along with other recent plantings, the Stations of the Cross pathway and the shrine to Our Lady of Fatima will create a welcoming, prayerful space signifying the longstanding and ongoing presence of our Catholic Faith in the neighborhood.
