Parish Listening Sessions - What's Next
The St. Alphonsus-St. Clement Parish Listening Sessions were on Tuesday, May 26th and Thursday, May 28th. Three models for the proposed pastorates for Planning Area 6 were presented.
Your support means more now than ever. The restructuring models that were presented during the listening sessions are not the final plan. We can change the outcome, but it requires your continued support. Come to Mass every week, bring a friend, let’s fill this church. As Fr. Michael and Fr. Zbigniew say to those who have been away, “We stand by the door and say, Welcome Back!”
It is also very important that you provide your feedback as described below.
The St. Alphonsus – St. Clement Parish “Planning Area 6” information will be available online for viewing and feedback starting June 18, 2026, and will be linked below. Even if you did not attend a Parish Listening Session the “Planning Area 6” Overview can be viewed as well as the three draft Pastorate model options.
Please complete the online survey to provide your feedback to the Archdiocese of Detroit on the Restructuring Initiative. The survey will take about 15 minutes to complete. Everyone will have the opportunity to offer feedback until July 31st via the online survey. As many as 20% to 40% of the initial Pastorate models may change because of parishioner feedback.

Fall 2026: Archbishop Weisenburger’s discernment
Spring 2027: Final plans announced
July 1, 2027: Implementation begins
