The Rosary Group
Please join us to pray the Rosary as a group every Monday at 6:15 pm in Fr. Yagley Hall. Pray the Rosary with us as we pray for world peace.
The Rosary is a Scripture based prayer that leads us to Jesus through Mary. The word rosary means garland of roses, which has been interpreted into the rosary of today, a string of beads. Mother Mary, also known as the Lady of the Rosary, urged everyone to pray the rosary to help people grow in their faith, convert sinners, and bring about world peace.
This is a group of men, women, parishioners and friends, and sometimes even pets, who meet each Monday in Fr. Yagley Hall. This group is led by parishioner Helen Gorski. They come together to socialize and pray the rosary not only for each other's special intentions, but also for peace in our families, our parish and throughout the world. All parishioners are welcome to attend and join in these prayers and have extra prayers said for their own needs.
"When people say the Rosary together it is far more formidable to the devil than one said in private, because in this public prayer it is an army that is attacking him. He can often overcome the prayer of an individual, but if this prayer is joined to that of other Christians, the devil has much more trouble getting the best of it." St. Louis De Monfort
