Spring Cleaning Donations Drive!

 Saturday, June 14 (1:30- 5:30 PM) & Sunday, June 15 (9 AM – 1 PM)

Please bring your used clothing, shoes, books, linens/towels and small household items to the donations truck, which will be in the Gould Street parking lot across from the main church entrance.

 And don’t forget those returnable bottles & cans!!

Proceeds from the returns will be donated Camp Ozanam, a program that gives disadvantaged youth the opportunity to enjoy a no-cost, fun-filled, and educational outdoor experience. Cash donations are also welcome.

The St. Vincent de Paul Society, at St. Alphonsus- St. Clement church, will sponsor two simultaneous events this spring: a clothing drive to help stock our SVDP Thrift Stores and a returnable bottle and can collection in support of Camp Ozanam. Please mark your calendars for these events, which will take place on June 14 and 15.
You may bring your donations to the St. Vincent de Paul truck from 1:30 - to 5:30 PM on Saturday, June 14, and from 9 AM - 1 PM on Sunday, June 15. The truck will be located in the parking lot directly across from the main entrance of the church at 13540 Gould St, Dearborn. Besides clothing, we will accept shoes, books, and small household items. The items collected will be sold in area Thrift Stores or will be distributed to those in need.

We are in need of a few volunteers who can lift the heavier bags onto the truck. If you can assist, please call the parish office at 313-581-5218 or email us at detroitwest1833@gmail.com.

At the same time, we will be collecting empty bottles and cans to raise funds for Camp Ozanam, a St. Vincent de Paul program that gives disadvantaged youth the opportunity to enjoy a fun, educational outdoor experience along the shores of Lake Huron. Cash donations are also welcome.
